This painting was one of more than thirty "cosmic paintings" I showed in the hall of the

Carl ZeissPlanetarium in Stuttgart (Germany), my hometown, where I went to school;

Stories and information about the universe, our galaxy , the earth and the beginning of life

have always fascinated me.(What a pity that I was not there to paint it!)

Alfa was rewarded with the "Premio Primavera" in Rome, 1990.
